Svenska Institutet (Swedish Institute)
From 2004, BrittonBritton worked with the Swedish Institute with the strategic and creative development of a brand new communicative platform for the official marketing of Sweden, the so-called Sweden Image. Our commission encompassed — among many other projects — the creation of a new visual and photographic concept for the then brand new website sweden.se, launched in 2004, the development of the Image Bank Sweden image bank, and the creation and production of the Sweden&Swedes booklet and theme website, with texts by Claes Britton — a formidable success which has been produced in 15 language versions, and sold in large volumes worldwide. Other units produced by BrittonBritton within same project included the Sweden.se portable exhibition that still tours embassies, consulates and other venues worldwide. In 2007, BrittonBritton, commissioned by The Swedish Institute and NSU (The Comittee for The Promotion of the Sweden Image Abroad, chiefed by the Foreign Ministry), directed and produced Sweden — Open Skies, Open Minds, the official image film for Sweden. In 2008, we produced the campaign website and exhibition celebrating the 300-year anniversary of the birth of Carl von Linné (Carolus Linneaus)
