Café Opera's 25 year anniversary book/magazine released
The book/magazine hybrid Café Opera – natten är bara barnet... (Café Opera – the night is just a child...), produced by BrittonBritton, celebrating the quarter century anniversary of Sweden's – and one of the world's – greatest and most notorious nightclubs, was lauched on 2 February at a casual cocktail for some 600 invited guests at that very same Café Opera here in Stockholm. For more information about this book/magazine, see blog and portfolio – and further down in this news column. This unique publication composes the second leg in BrittonBritton's ongoing trilogy about Stockholm's recent restaurant and nightlife history, which was kicked off earlier this fall, with the release of our much awaited cookbook Meze at Half Greek Plus Turk (published by Modernista – for more information see portfolio and further down in this news column). The trilogy will be concluded with the launch of the mighty PA&Co – more than a cookbook, to be published in the fall by Stockholm New Publishing: a definite must-have for all of you interested in food, Stockholm and/or all the other good things in this life...
