The new international website celebrating Sweden's great natural scientist Carl von Linné's (aka Carolus Linnaeus') 300-year anniversary has long been launched, produced by BrittonBritton and AGoodID.

So we shall continue our recent practice of presenting age old news. It's already two months ago that the international website www.linnaeus300.com was launched, celebrating the 300-year anniversary of perhaps the greatest Swede of all times, groundbreaking natural scientist Carl von Linné, produced by BrittonBritton and AGoodID on commission by The Swedish Institute. Well, it's actually no less than 52 websites, presenting a new question for each new week of the anniversary year, complete with flash films (most by young an un-established Swedish creatives), links and interactive features. In these questions, selected Swedish frontline contemporary scientists in various fields do their best to answer some of life's most urgent questions. The target group for this English language website is a very broad global audience, not least students around the world. A main purpose is to inspire curiosity and learning about life upon our planet, all in the spirit och good old Carl von. The numerous interviews on the site are conducted by science communicator Eva Krutmeier while Claes Britton has contributed the text about the great man himself.
