Christina lays more Golden Eggs...
Christina Sollenberg Britton's former pupils from Stockholm's Beckmans College of Design were awarded with no fewer than nine of the Swedish advertising industries most esteemed awards – the Golden Egg, the Silver Egg and the Chicken Scholarship – at the Golden Egg Awards 2005 gala in Stockholm's Concert Hall in April.
It was with great regret that Christina Sollenberg Bitton decided to resign last autumn after eleven years as class teacher of the Advertising and Graphic Design programme at her own alma mater, the small, unique and world-renowned Beckmans College of Design in central Stockholm. During these years, Christina has ”produced” an astonishing number of exceptionally gifted and successful young professionals not only in advertising and design, but in a wide range of creative fields. Many of these young people are now highly esteemed star creatives not only in Sweden but around the world. It was a great treat for Christina, and a tribute to her teaching mission, to see one after the other of her ex-students, all night long, parading up to the podium to receive their prizes at the Golden Egg gala in Stockholm's Concert Hall in April 2005.
