Café Opera 25 – we salute you!

| Nov 2, 2005 | 0 comments

For 25 years, the mighty Café Opera nightclub in the Opera House in Kungsträdgården in central Stockholm, has played a dominant role in our Swedish Capital's nightlife scene. From its opening in 1980 until the mid nineties, "The Café" ruled that night supreme, becoming known among stars and party-people around the globe as one of the world's greatest and most splendid night scenes. In Sweden, the name Café Opera was, and still is, a trademark with a recognition not far short of that of Volvo or Coca-Cola.

To celebrate its quarter-century anniversary, and to prove that it's once again back on top, Café Opera will publish a spectacular book/magazine-hybrid, produced by BrittonBritton, to be released in early December. It's a predominatly visual, full-speed journey through the thick of glamour, glitter, squalor and craziness of 25 years of Stockholmian party spirit at its finest, focusing on our present day. The book/magazine includes a powerful dose of brand new photography, as well as unique, previously un-published historic images.
