After years of delay, our much awaited cookbook Meze – hos Halv Grek Plus Turk (Meze – at Half Greek Plus Turk) was finally released on 21 November. The book is edited by Christina and Claes Britton and published by Modernista. It's a cookbook from the Halv Grek Plus Turk restaurant, a modern classic on Stockholm’s contemporary restaurant scene, specialising in its own trademark Stockholm take on gastronomy from the vast Eastern Mediterranean region. The book also features an extensive literary section, written by Claes Britton, recounting the biographies of the restaurant's patrons, which is also a juicy tale from Stockholm's recent restaurant and nightlife history. In its presentation, Meze has a strong lifestyle element, photographed by fashion and advertising veteran Stefan Andersson. The book is designed by Lars Sundh, partner at the Modernista publishing house www.modernista.com.
