Our world from a blogger's perspective

So here I sit on a deserted late Friday evening far out on the edge of Indian summer, weeding out my cell phone and laptop much like the way our ancestors used to weed out their fishing nets and potato patches. As the "blogger" (this godforsaken word - may our one and only almighty God forbid that it shall one wretched day be engraved into my tombstone!) that I am, after all — if indeed an infrequent an irregular one at that — I would like to continue my new custom of sharing with you a handful of odd images from my past months' travels, delights and proceedings. My overridig analysis of these recent experiences is that our world, on the whole and in general speaking, remains pretty much the same and no less sweet and merry.
